After several months of active development, brainstorming and testing, we are releasing a Beta version of the HMCSim-2.0 simulation infrastructure. The 2.0 Beta is much improved from the original Alpha update releases.
Additional Features/Bug Fixes:
- Bug fixes to the CMC library resolution
- Bug fixes to the Gen2 HMC packet encoding/decoding
- Bug fixes the memory allocation within the HMCSim core
- Adding basic I/O functionality to the CMC library to read/write the physical array data
Additional CMC Examples:
- Mutex examples for performing lock, trylock and unlock CMC operations
- Fullempty/Tag-Bit examples for performing fine-grained locking
- Tests for all the new CMC operations
Outstanding Development Items:
- Provide a fine-grained timing model for the CMC library.
- Provide a native mechanism to re-inject packets into the packet queues from within a CMC op
